Character Creation

Creating a character requires all items to be explainable. You don't need to explain it all out in detail, it just has to make sense. For instance, if you include certain training that does not fit your chosen class, you must explain how and why they received this excess skill outside of what might have been earned in character/during session.

Note: Creating a character sheet it not necessarily required unless you desire more than the base level of something such as a guard, or serv. If you choose not to make a character sheet right away, you must adhere to the character types a GM assigns you, or be nothing more than a player friendly Guard or servant/villager/hunter whose loyalties align with the players' faction entirely so there are no surprises for GMs. You may also not record progress or experience you would gain and must wait until you have a character sheet. This mechanic is for those of you who would like to try before you dedicate yourself to writing a character, a try it nd feel it out kind of feature.

To begin, use the following outline for your character sheet. To fill out your character sheet, you must reference and understand the basics of each class and race you would like to use and reference.

Character Sheet:
Crucial to your character progress and tracking, each player will be responsible for keeping track of their resources and wallets per session. This sheet will also help GMs keep track of what players can do or how to prepare/act out the session events.

When creating a character, ensure your race is understood and that you choose a class wisely to your intended gameplay. Mixing such as writing down "Knight/Paladin" together is not allowed. You must choose one Class and must also understand whether or not that class is permitted without prior GM approval ("Permission Required" as explained in Character Classes)

For the sake of understanding and cultural clarity, only certain races are allowed for starting off. Please identify and stick to this starting rule so you have an easier time acclimating to Wyl's lore.

Available Starting Races:

  • Human
  • Vulakaian
  • Half-Elf (No pure elfs without permission)
  • Dwarf
  • Falarin
